BELLE VERNON – After you finish your Thanksgiving leftovers, Mayor Jackson, Council and the Belle Vernon Area Fire Department invite you to our annual “Light Up Night” celebration on Friday, November 29 at Ted Kuhn Park along Main Street. The park opens at 5:30  with music and entrainment.

“It’s always a great event for our community,” said Councilwoman Laurie Lazzari, council representative for the borough’s recreation committee. “Our fire department plans this event with support from the Mayor and Council. There will be goodies, coffee and hot chocolate, and of course the main event, Santa’s arrival,” Lazzari said.

Santa will arrive around 6 p.m., escorted to the park on a fire truck. Children will be able to get their photo with St. Nick and receive a treat bag from him.
