The Belle Vernon Rotary Club has presented Comfort Bags for first responders to provide to children when police or fire activity requires officers of firefighters to place children in their vehicles for their safety. Often times, when police or firefighters are called to an active scene, children need to be removed from the scene for their protection. The Comfort Bag is kept inside each police car for fire vehicle to be handed out to a child in their care. The bag includes a coloring book and crayons, toiletries, a stuff animal and other items.
Belle Vernon Boro Council thanked the Rotary Members who presented these bags. |
